Wow! The weather is awesome for colt training! Too bad the sun sets so soon in the day. We have been hurrying to preserve our harvest for the coming winter. Our horses look more like wooly worms than horses. Daisy, the Jersey cow, is weaning her calves, Betty Boop and Hershey. The chickens scurry in search of the season's last worms and grubbs.
The colorful leaves blanket the pasture and nestled the earth in for a long winter nap. The sunsets are so glorious with the ranges of amber to neon pink. It is so breath taking.
This week we went to a horse show. I competed for the first time since my accident. Autumn competed at 18"on Ranger, the wonder pony. We are setting posts in the ground on Wednesday for the horse barn.
Today, I spent the day doing work at the Conservation Office. Came home in the dark. Started on this blog.
